My Story

I began my journey in videography in 2022 after enrolling in a film class during my sophomore year of high school. What started as a class quickly became a passion. I was drawn to the balance of creativity and technical precision videography allows for. This allowed me to harness storytelling through both art and technology.

From there, I volunteered with my school’s Stream Team and church broadcast teams, gaining hands-on experience in live production, camera operation, and directing. That experience eventually led to a paid position as Assistant Video Director at my church, where I helped oversee broadcast logistics, operate cameras, and direct broadcasts for weekly services and special events.

Those early years solidified my decision to pursue Digital Media Production at Florida State University, where I am currently continuing to develop my craft.

Today, I work as a freelance videographer creating content for athletes, bands, brands, and organizations. I’m passionate about producing visuals that are both creatively compelling and strategically intentional.

High School

I began studying film in 10th grade and quickly immersed myself in both the creative and technical sides of production. Having grown up in ballet and dance while also enjoying engineering and design, videography became the perfect blend of those two worlds.

Through Stream Team, I helped produce live broadcasts for school sports and arts programs. By my senior year, I was leading logistics, mentoring team members, and produced many short films allowing me to exercise and grow my craft. During that time, I earned my first film festival award and began contracting professional broadcast work with my church, serving as a camera operator and director.

These experiences taught me leadership, production workflow, and how to operate effectively under pressure. These skills continue to shape my work today as I grow as a young creative.

College

I’m now in my sophomore year of college at Florida State University. During my freshman year I worked on my general eduction courses and planted roots in Tallahassee. I also started working in freelance video production, filming everything from concerts to fashion.

I now have an internship with FSU’s School of Information and regularly do freelance work with several local bands, advertisement agencies, and athletes.

It’s been amazing seeing how far I’ve come in the last year and I am excited to see what the rest of college has in store for me. GO NOLES!
